This is my finished front cover for my magazine. I have ensured that I have kept to a continuous font where by the audience will recognise the font and therefore relate it to the magazine in the future.
Also by creating advertisements for 'posters' and a 'free cd' will make the audience more likely to purchase this product.
I have also kept to a colour scheme of red, black and white, this creates an aesthetically pleasing front cover for people to look at.
In the bottom right hand corner I have also added a barcode and price and date above it, this increases the realistic effect of the magazine.

New and edited front cover

This is what I have changed my magazine too. I have changed the title as the previous title portrayed connotations of fun, games and a childish image.
I feel with the title, imagery and text which I have now used it will connect to my target audience better and it now also looks more professional.
I have also moved the image of the guitarist up above the poster which was previously there, Before I thought the poster which was there showed professionality and realism of the iamge, But, due to the coverlines and other imagery needed I had tyo go over it to present more information.
I felt that the magazine which I have just produced is too childish and the imagery and text used will not connect and attract my target audience.
Due to this, I have changed my magazine to make it look more presentable and to the style of which the target audience is used to and are expecting.

Creating the Front cover

I have included the addition of a barcode and Image of a poster which will be included within the magazine. I have called the band 'bloodstock' and on the word 'blood' I have Made it be dripping with blood. This will be aesthetically pleasing to the target audience as they will know the band and understand why the blood is dripping.

first attempt of Music Mag front cover

First attempt at creating a front cover for a student magazine. through development I am trying to make my title recognisable and readable. I feel I have done this with this title.

Flat plan pages for my Music Magazine

Front cover flat plan for my magazine, I have ensured that I have included important information such as masthead, main image, cover lines and other small additions such as price, barcode and also the logo.

I have also create a flat plan for a double page spread, also included the iconic title covering both pages and photo with the relevant information to what the topic is for example; a interview. I have filled this with place holder text.

A contents page is set after the front page, I have ensured that there will not be loads of information but limited as the reader just wants to know whats going to be in the magazine. I have made images a main priority for the contents page to portray what will be shown in the magazine.
